Monday, 24 September 2007
Hays Travel have recently appointed Alicia Redgrave as the homeworking division’s Business Development Manager, joining us from Travel Counsellors, where she was employed in the same position for the past two years.
Alicia has worked in the travel industry for eight years - firstly with Airtours Holidays, then The Global Travel Group, Travel Counsellors and now Hays.
Alicia said: “I have always been in Business Development and love the challenge of helping people to build their business through various channels, based on what their needs are. I particularly enjoy providing bespoke training to ensure I am able to help people ‘fix’ the main areas in which they lack confidence, whatever they might be.
I decided to Leave Travel Counsellors after just over two years as I wanted to take my career to another level. Hays seemed the perfect company for me, as it not only has a fantastic reputation within the travel industry, but it's also a company that cares about it's people and invests heavily to ensure everyone can be a success in what they do.”
Gemma Morrell, acting homeworker general manager at Hays Travel, said: “Alicia's role is to oversee and help the development of the Personal Travel Consultant homeworkers, to share ideas and develop individual business plans, working closely with local marketing; building up repeats and own business etc.
“As Business Development Manager Alicia will also work in conjunction with the homeworker support team at head office, as well as with homeworker team leaders, to try and drive forward and develop team business and profits. Alicia will be looking to carry out regional seminars, briefing and training sessions with our PTC homeworkers, on various aspects of business and personal development.
“Alicia is very excited and eager to start reviewing communication with our Personal Travel Consultants, implementing regular updates, sales briefs, sharing success stories etc, and will be making contact with all PTC homeworkers within the next couple of weeks; personally introducing herself, and identifying any possible un-tapped business ideas.”
