Can I sell all tour operators?
Yes, Hays Travel is a completely independent travel agent. You are free to sell whichever tour operator suits the customer.
What are the minimum hours that I am expected to work?
There are no minimum hours and no rotas. We are completely flexible and allow our homeworkers to work to fit in with their lifestyles. Remember though – the more hours you work, the more you can earn!
Will I be a success?
If you have the dedication and will to succeed you will achieve your personal goals. If you would like to speak to someone who is already doing it, we are happy to put you in touch with a current homeworker.
How much can I earn?
Good sellers earn £30K plus. They are highly motivated sales professionals! You too can be that person, it just takes sales ability, time and commitment.
Can I generate my own leads from my local area, friends and family?
Yes, personal travel consultants are responsible for generating all their own leads, while we also encourage homeworker travel consultants to build a strong and loyal client base, so that they may one day move to the PTC model and gain an even higher earning potential. And don't worry, we are always here to support you with expert advice when it comes to helping you with marketing.
Do I pay the phone costs?
Hays Travel pay all the business costs incurred on the telephone lines for homeworker travel consultants, while personal travel consultants are recharged for these costs.
What if I'm a specialist seller?
Our up to date switch telephone system allows us to direct cruise calls to cruise specialists, ski calls to ski specialists and so on.
How long does it take to get started?
You can be up and running, taking calls, between three and four weeks from when we receive your contract.
